Terms Of Use

Please read this Terms of Use and Disclaimer Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using the Fisbo mobile application ("Application") and the fisbol.com.tr website ("Site"). Any individual or legal entity ("User") who downloads, accesses, or uses the Fisbo platform is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement in advance.

1. Nature of the Service and "AS-IS" Basis

Fisbo is an auxiliary digital tool that provides users with receipt scanning, optical character recognition (OCR), expense tracking, and theoretical bill splitting among group members.

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: The Fisbo platform, along with all its algorithms, features, and outputs, is provided to the User on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. No express or implied commercial or legal warranty is made that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, free of viruses, or that it will fully meet user expectations.

2. AI and Receipt Scanning (OCR) Disclaimer

Fisbo utilizes artificial intelligence and automated optical character recognition systems to read receipts. Due to print quality, lighting, shadows, wrinkles, handwriting, or software-related factors, the system may generate inaccurate or incomplete results under the following circumstances:

  • Inaccurate or missing detection of item names, quantities, or unit prices,
  • Miscalculation or omission of VAT, service fees, cover charges, discounts, or tip amounts,
  • Discrepancies between the total amount and the physical receipt, or rounding differences.

Sole Responsibility for Verification: Before leaving the table, paying the restaurant/merchant, or initiating money transfers among friends, it is exclusively the USER’s responsibility to compare and verify the breakdown generated by Fisbo against the physical original receipt. Fisbo shall not be held liable for any material or moral damages arising from misread receipts, inaccurate splits, or incorrect payment amounts.

3. Not Financial, Legal, or Accounting Advice

  • Fisbo is not a bank, licensed payment institution, accounting firm, certified public accountant, or tax advisor.
  • Records, reports, or statistics maintained within the application do not substitute for official invoices, tax declarations, or statutory accounting records and may not be used as such.
  • Data generated within the application holds no official validity before government authorities.

4. Peer-to-Peer Transfers and Debt Disputes

Fisbo does not process direct peer-to-peer money transfers, manage escrow accounts, or collect payments on behalf of users. All transfers made via IBAN, cash, wire/EFT, or third-party digital wallets, as well as any creditor/debtor relationships, are strictly private legal matters between the respective parties.

Fisbo is under no circumstance a party, mediator, guarantor, or interlocutor in disputes regarding unpaid debts, underpayments, unjust claims, or personal disagreements arising within social groups.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fisbo, its founders, employees, affiliates, and licensors shall not be held liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of reputation, or hardware damage) arising out of the use of or inability to use the application,
  • Server downtime, database failures, cyberattacks, or technical disruptions,
  • The accuracy or legality of any content uploaded to the system by users.

Maximum Liability Cap: In the event that this limitation of liability is deemed invalid by a competent judicial authority, Fisbo’s cumulative total financial liability to the user shall be strictly limited to the net amount paid by the user to Fisbo in the 1 (one) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim (and capped at 0 -zero- for free tier users).

6. Advertisements and Third-Party Links

The application may display advertisements, banners, or external links provided by Google AdMob and third-party advertising networks. Fisbo is not responsible for the content of these ads, the quality of products or services offered, or the privacy practices of external linked websites.

7. Modifications to Service and Termination

Fisbo reserves the right to modify, suspend, reconfigure free/paid modules, or permanently terminate platform features at any time without prior notice. Access for users who violate these Terms of Use may be terminated unilaterally.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or in connection with the use of the platform.
